Hi Mario Rossi,

I hope you never suffer data loss, but if you do, Mozy makes it easy to get your files back. Choose the restore method that's best for you:

Right-click Restore
If you only need to restore a couple of files, your best option is to use "right-click restore." It's the simplest, most efficient way for Windows users to get their files back.
  1. Navigate to the location of the file(s) you want to restore.
  2. Right-click in the the white space.
  3. Select Restore Files in Folder.
  4. Select the file version(s) you wish to restore.
MozyHome Virtual Drive
Mozy creates a virtual drive on your computer that you can use to view or restore your backed up files. To restore from your hard drive:
  1. Open My Computer (either on your desktop of from the Start menu).
  2. Click the drive labeled MozyHome Remote Backup.
  3. When the MozyHome Remote Backup window appears, right-click on the drive that contains the data you wish to restore.
  4. Select either Restore or Restore To.
Read more about virtual drive restores.

The Restore Tab
After your initial backup, a Restore tab will appear in the MozyHome client. To restore files using the Restore tab in your MozyHome client:
  1. Click the Restore Files button in the MozyHome status window.
  2. In the left panel, select the folder from which you want to restore files.
  3. In the right panel, select the file(s) you want to restore.
  4. Click Browse to select the destination folder for your restored files.
  5. Once you've selected a destination, choose how you want MozyHome to deal with duplicate file names.
  6. Click Restore Files.

Web Restore & DVD Restore
If you don't have MozyHome installed on the computer you are restoring to and/or the amount of data you need to restore is less than 20 GB, a web restore is your best option. If you need to restore a large amount of data, I recommend a DVD restore.
  1. Log in to your MozyHome account at Mozy.com.
  2. Click on Restore Files in the left-hand navigation.
  3. Click Choose Files to Restore under either DVD restore or web restore.
  4. Select the backup time/date you want to restore from.
  5. Check the boxes next to the drives, folders, or files you want to restore.
  6. Click Continue.
If you chose web restore, you'll receive an email when your files are ready for download. DVD restores are sent via FedEx Next Day delivery as soon as your files are burned to disc.

If you want more information about restoring your files using MozyHome, check out the Restoring Backup Files section of the MozyHome Client Manual. For more detailed information, or to start restoring data, log in to your Mozy account, and click Restore Files from the left sidebar.
